In celebration of 25 years of the Waverley Art Prize, the exhibition
has been extended to over 5 weeks at the School of Arts then
to Waverley Library. Previous winners include Tom Carment,
Janet Lawrence, Ambrose Reish, Wendy Sharpe and Thomas Spence
The retrospective exhibition at Waverley Library aims to reunite artists,
judges and entrants in celebrating this very loved and popular competition
The extended exhibition gives the people of Waverley more time
to appreciate the Waverley Art Prize artworks and support
artists by purchasing their works!

Christmas in July – Snack Art Prize – $200 Cash!
The theme for the first Snack Art Prize is “Christmas in July”
and we encourage you to interpret that theme as broadly as you like.
Your artwork/works need to fit inside a standard CD jewel case
(if you don’t have any grab one/some from Reverse Garbage).
Your artworks need to be at Reverse Garbage Marrickville
by close of business (5pm) on Monday July 18th.
Winners are not only grinners – they will also be cashed up to
the tune of $200 from Reverse Garbage – that’s real money to
help you creative types warm yourselves through the winter months.
Your works MUST be made from 80% REUSE materials.
