Hi Artists (If you’re not an artist but know one, please forward the invitation),
We’ve managed to negotiate a better deal with Marricville Council for the Marrickville Festival.
It’s now fee, and also much easier. Here’s the deal:
Illawarra Rd (near ESP Gallery) is going to be a specific art quarter for the festival.
We’ve got some local press to run a story on the “art lane”, so there should be loads of interested people.
Council has now agreed to supply a table, a space on the footpath and the insurance
for free! The only catch is that you can’t handle art sales, these will be done by ESP
(also for free – no commission). The tables are for art display only.
We are suggesting that artists share a table, so if you would like to
send us your information as a pair/group, please keep it as one email
with the following info:
The Marrickville Festival is Sunday 24 October, 11 – 5pm –
so we need your details by next Wednesday (20 October) if you want to be
part of it.
